Issue #2
- Falko
- The image_url is set from the meta tag with property="og:image". It's not just a general site logo, it's always relevant to the article. Check any article you want, for example here: https://www.mactechnews.de/news/article/Apple-Music-kommt-auf-Amazons-Fire-TV-vorerst-aber-nur-in-den-USA-171878.html
In all cases, there exists a meta tag with a corresponding image that should be used to set the preview image. It exists on this page too: <meta property="og:image" content="http://www.mactechnews.de/data/appletouch.png" />
But as you can see if you try this link, it is broken. This is not my fault, and the problem only exists on this page because the site author made a mistake (or link expired). It is better to use this meta tag rather than just grabbing a random image from the article which may be unfitting. With the meta tag you can be sure it fits, because it's what the author intended.

Thumbnail for link preview must be shown if a suitable image or document exists in the source.
If image_url from meta tag is just a general site logo, a more relevant one should be set from article.
The reference to the logo is not working
