The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Issue #1

It's a regular news article. Gallery must be presented as a slideshow according to 6.2.3 Galleries and slideshows

Slideshows are required only if the source article shows several photos or other media as a slideshow or gallery. If this is the case, do the following:
- Present all images in the IV as a gallery, if possible.

And this is not an exception since the gallery is not main medium of the article.
There's no reliable way to detect if it's main medium of the article. The only way is to check by number of elements or string length. If we don't do that and convert everything to slideshow, someone will send an issue that there should be no slideshow.

And there will always be some exception to report. No way to handle it perfectly.

Moreover, there's nothing after the images, not a big deal if that's slideshow or list of images (it's even better actually!). And because it's not a slideshow in the original, it's fine to leave it as is.
