I'm pretty tired to respond to this issue, but this part of the text is hand-typed. While it's possible to remove it for some amount of articles like few other template authors try to, but (still) there's no template that would remove it for each article without any bugs, because there's no guarantee from N+1 how this part is formatted: it may contain extra text, additional paragraph after it, more same paragraphs on the top with other authors or etc. As a result, other template authors either not able to remove it in different cases, misuse author, or even remove essential paragraphs in a few cases.
I think it's better to keep it as N+1 editors wanted it to be, so IV would be always in the predictable format.
