The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Event page is static and IV must be generated for it.
The only dynamic content on the page is the word "Today", which is displayed for today's events, and can be easily replaced with a date (as in my template).

The "Events" section items seems to be relevant only until certain point of time (usually 1-2 weeks ahead), which is assumed to fall into "dynamic" category
