- I will argue it should (content is missing and it isn't because of the template) so user should be "notified" in some way.
- Accepted by admin
- An incomplete or "broken-looking" IV is not really acceptable, to the end-user this looks like a malfunction
Note also: Other templates have found graceful ways of getting around this issue, by not including this image, but instead sourcing related ones to use a cover. The result is so much nicer:
