Administrator, where did you see the figure and figcaption in my template? I suggest getting rid of a table of two cells under each other, if img is in one of them. It is absolutely safe, as these elements will still be located under each other. And it does not matter whether they are related or not.
Parsing the table content as simple elements has no sense at all.
