- My template uses a subtitle as a description if its length is more than 50 characters. This avoids short and meaningless descriptions, including one or two words.
Checklist: “If the description in the meta data (routinely) doesn’t describe the contents of the article, your template must create a description using the subtitle or lead section, first paragraph, etc.”
