- First of all, selected image quality is in range of optimal resolution 1280px-2560px, so it's fine.
Secondly, website itself uses srcset. And if @data-orig-file will not exists for some reason(removed image or smth), website will display the image correctly but your template won't. So it's more safe to use what website itself uses.
Moreover, it's not really significant if it's 1300 or 1600 because it's almost the same when viewed in-app: https://telegra.ph/quality-03-30
And there's this rule in checklist:
6.2.1 Image quality
- We will not accept issues if the difference in image quality is insignificant when viewed in-app.
- Declined by admin
- Resolution from srcset is suitable
- Type of issue
- IV page is missing essential content

here in a 2019 page the cover used in this template it's 1314x720 while a bigger one is available 1600x968
