Nothing is broken or wrong. The text flow is maintained and images act like another level of separation between channels programming.
This type of articles are not written any more on the site, this that you have pointed is the last one dated 22 Dec 2017 (http://www.tvblog.it/cerca/Stasera%20in%20tv)
Also, it is optional to use pic cause it only says recommended in the checklist, not obligatory.
