- Yes, this is done on purpose.
This site has lots of different headers.
The positions of secondary credits can be different inside of header.
The cover image may have their own credits, this is why I put them into footer and if possible to cover.
And so you know, this is author not of the cover photo but of the whole photos in this post.
For instance, you duplicate it here too, but in your case it looks ugly:
