It's an article too.

The reporter's template handles this page indeed, as well as the current version of this template.
Template #16 Issue #1

The article's author is mentioned in the last paragraphs

There is no way to check if this is author's name or not, it is just part of a text without anything that could differ it from other paragraphs. What if next day someone will write there italic text instead of author's name? Yle.fi has an "official" place in the header of the text, where they usually put those names, I think this and only this must be considered as author's name

Kindly resubmit with a link to a template that handles this case better.
Template #16 Issue #2
Jun 3, 2017
Issue #1 Resubmitted. While the reader can easily identify the author, it carries an identifiable theme across pages under http://yle.fi/uutiset/18-215844 where the last 2 to 3 paragraphs contain information about the author.
First of the three contains the author's name, second is the description of the author and any other are remarks of edits.

For example:

I still do not agree with this issue, since from technical point of view it will not be always clear that this string is actually an author. It does not have any separate class in HTML marking that this is an author. There is only a class of italic font which is also applied to all next strings. Thus if at some point Yle will put there some other text than author (for example saying just Thanks), then it will appeared in instant view immediately as an author. And we will not know it

My template takes into consideration only author names that are clearly marked in HTML as an author. See e.g.:

Where it is not possible to reliably identify the author, it is better to not mention an author name at all.

There are 'before-after' images, so the second image is essential.
