There is a suitable image in the page for link preview, it's much better than site logo.

- No. <meta property="og:image"> tag always contains a suitable image on this site. I didn't seen such cases before, in every article the pictures from meta were suitable. Check out any other articles.
If logo was used instead of image in this article, this means that the authors believe that there is no suitable image in the article.
You took a picture from the very end of the article. From the slideshow. How can you verify that it is suitable? It can be absolutely any image.
