Looks like that they (site authors) mix real related articles with newer articles.
It's some "old" post with newer articles in "Related block". I think it's clearly inappropriate for Related Articles. Let's take some old random articles from 2015-2018. All of these web pages contains newer articles in "Related Block", not only real related.
