It's not safe to rely on <meta> to parse dates because they are not consistent and dependable. The safest way is to parse what the user sees.

I'm parsing "23 hours ago" with @datetime as it's the only way to get consistent times the user sees.

I did not hardcode the timezone into @datetime because it can change depending on DST.
