This should have an IV
Declined by admin
There is too much interactive content here for it to be essential that this page has IV

It could be done, but just stripping out the essential parts and non-interactive elements, but it is not really needed.

Publication date is missing

Publication date for articles like this one is extremely important - it should be added, especially in cases like this one where it is relatively easy to extract

Audio can be wrapped so user can play it inside IV
Deleted Account
I suppose you mean to use the <video> tag like in your template (https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template5/)?

This solution is bad, besause:
A) This neither recommended nor approved not by W3C or any other HTML5 manuals. It is not specified anywhere that video tag supports audio;
B) Instant View manual says that <video> tag supports ONLY <source> with type="video/mp4". This audio has a source tag with type="audio/mpeg".

Currently <audio> tag is not supported in IV format, so one thing we can do is leave link to original audio as fallback content. Selected audio will have this output:

<audio>
<source src="https://...xdown.mp3" type="audio/mpeg"></source>
<a href="https://...xdown.mp3">dylan lovan coal mine</a>
</audio>

<audio> tag is cutted by IV and only fallback content is shown.
When IV format will support audio, fallback content will automatically removed, as it removes from video/iframe tags (sure it will get support, because IV supports SoundCloud embeds)
Declined by admin
We do not recommend wrapping audio in <video> tags. Doing so will break the IV and it won't work on mobile.

As for <audio> tags, this isn't supported yet. However, it has been added to the "+ ..after" block so that we won't display pages with that tag until we support them.

So <audio> tags can be the way to go.

Each article on the insights.ap.org requires the user to interact
In order to obtain full access to the information provided, it is necessary to subscribe to the article filling the form below

For a better understanding, links to short texts:

https://insights.ap.org/industry-trends/e-book-best-practices-for-designing-the-modern-newsroom-workflow
One paragraph about an e-book, for access to which you need a subscription. There are no other links to the book in the article.

https://insights.ap.org/industry-trends/webinar-how-to-use-artificial-intelligence-in-your-newsroom
The announcement of the webinar, and the text "Sign up below to see the webinar"

This article is also not complete, this is only the opening part of the report. To access the full report, you must fill out the form at the end of the article

You can find a response to these points here:
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template6/issue1/

Regarding the other issue on this template about handling of audio, <audio> isn't supported yet, however, it has been added to the "+ ..after" block so we won't display pages with that tag until we support them.

Maybe, but the article says "sign up below to receive a demo for your newsroom."

Page is require to interact, and IV doesn't support form. Each article on the insights.ap.org requires the user to interact.

A detailed answer to a similar question here: (https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template4/issue2/):

P.S. For administrators
1. Three days ago the same issue was created (#issue2), but there are still no answer of administrators
2. More than a week ago there was created a issue about audio on the page (#issue1)
Tell me please, will there be support for HTML5 audio tag, or we must mark <audio> as unsupported? Or can I use the <video> tag like in template #5 (https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template5/)?

I wrote a letter to insights@ap.org about this issue (and all before: https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template4/issue2/, https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template4/issue3/), create a template for insights.ap.org or not. If they agree that the template should be generated, I will recreate the template containing the rules for insights.ap.org

If the contest administrators reject the current template earlier, so be it, you can create a template that includes rules for articles on insights.ap.org
Accepted by admin
1) Yes, some insights.ap.org articles contain forms requiring sign up to access extra content. Although, other articles, such as this one, contain forms that are in fact general calls to sign up ("Subscribe to Insights – Sign up to be notified when new posts are published").

Cases like this article do not require interaction with such forms to view essential content. If we just discard all insights.ap.org articles containing forms, we'll leave a lot of valuable content without IV.

In theory, the template can treat such forms in a different manner depending on whether "Subscribe" "Sign up" substrings are found (and if yes, remove the forms and generate IV, if not, skip IV).

2) Regarding wrapping audio in <video> tags, we do not recommend this, as it does not actually work with the IV on mobile.

News articles should have IV page
Deleted Account
Some insights.ap.org articles contain forms requiring sign up to access extra content (11 out of 134 articles, including this one is require sign up, other is geterate IV (for other info see admin reply https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template6/issue1/).

This is a reason #1

And reason #2 (for this article)
Exactly this article contains a Youtube video-playilst, embed url is: https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?list=PLdiBGBcbBGQw837J2nVCNv0HXscjbDr3C

IV cut this address to https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries and content is displaying invalid

And if you thik this page should have IV, why it not generates in your template?

Author added separator for stylise lead paragraph, as it have a large space between first paragraph and other text.

P.S. And it's not a subtitle, because it can contain many paragraphs (https://blog.ap.org/announcements/an-addition-to-ap-stylebook-entry-on-global-warming) or all article inside (https://blog.ap.org/announcements/dig-into-data-journalism-with-ap)

2 hours ago you say another thing: https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template12/issue1/

https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template16/?url=https%3A%2F%2Finsights.ap.org%2Fwhats-new%2Fthe-promise-of-journalism

So stop talking nonsense and create issues only for real problems.
And don't try to find all 11 articles that don't geterate IV's on insights.ap.org (https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template11/issue1/)

Author is omitted from the IV page. According to Checklist 6.1, “author name is required only if it is presented in the source article in a clear way (at the top of the page, at the very end of the text, etc.), especially if there's a name of an actual person”, which is right there at the top in bold.

For administrators
If you reject my template based on
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template11/issue4/
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/ap.org/template11/issue5/

Tell me, please, if I use the author's name from the text of the article and put it in the 'author' property, should I remove the author (full sentence with organisation name) from the text of the article?

Or the text of the article should not change, despite the fact that the author's name is repeated in the first line of the article?

Although I understand that you are very busy, I would appreciate it if you could provide a response as soon as possible.
=)
