Changing the order could maybe fix this one specific issue on this template, but may very likely cause new issues on other templates that were good with using the Twitter description first.

Isn't that redundant? Besides, I've been reading this news website for a couple of years already and I know that if there is a particular person (not the service itself) who is the author, this name will be given specifically at the end of the article. However, if an author can be identified, it is always preferable to put it in the field intended for the author.
