I am terribly sorry for duplicating the issue, but I feel this should be discussed, because you are misleading people. In your answer you said that's 2017 post, it's not - this is post from 6 days ago. Also, this and all other weird fkups that they did in code took me ~10 lines of code to fix without endangering anything. Please stop using lazy excuses and find a way to fix this. I can show you the code after this domain gets a winner if you are interested. I hope I did not sound rude, sorry if I did.

There is no Telegram channel nowhere in the source of any subdomains. Author hardcoded this value. If they ever change their Telegram channel or add one to their subdomain with this template it will always show wrong one.

This is supplement issue for the previous one: Yes, this is a post from 2017, but your code broke it, there is nothing wrong with it and you can break future posts as well. Just because I found a post from 1.5 year ago, which is not far man, we ain't in 2039, but it still does not mean there is none from 2018 or even 2019.

This should not be presented like this. Those are not that essential to bring it right before potential reader's eyes. Those are just thesis of the article. My template handles this better and does not make this element so annoying to look at.

Facebook post not properly parsed. Isn't this annoying? Sending last minute issues. I will stop if you stop, so we can have a fair battle.

This whole block is unreadable now, all paragraphs are joined together.
|
Template #180 |

Unfortunately, according to latest rules: "Only one header may be present for the block of related articles at the end of the page." also: "You may leave “inline” related links in the middle the article. If you do, these <related> blocks must not have headers (unless the header contains critical information)." Sorry :/ I had to fix that myself as well. https://instantview.telegram.org/checklist#6-3-2-1-formatting-related-articles
|
Template #185 |
Issue #1
Mar 21, 2019
|
Hey Serhii, I know that the thing with related wasn't 100% fair and I waited quite a while after new rules were released before I changed mine. Sorry if you feel cheated, I do have few more valid (I think) issues though, so I will use one now. I don't think you should use <hr> here. It makes the content much less readable. On original page it's only used to mark the answer of interviewed person (or whoevs).

Hey Serhii, well, congrats, I think you won it after all this time. Sorry I was harsh, but I just felt that you are wasting the time with those last minute issues and also it was a bit disrespectful for all the time we put into it. After all I think you deserve the win, congrats. I don't think it's a valid issue, just a minor cosmetic thing and it's not the point of me sending you the issue - however this doesn't look good as pullquote, I'd recommend to use <details> for it and perhaps leave it as opened, especially that we already use pullquotes for something different.

Template #196 |
Issue #1

<details> isn't suitable formatting for this block: key theses must be first and obvious content in the article. They're not additional content, that can be hidden. It's better to format this block as simple paragraphs and separate it from the main content with <hr>
